STANDARD VISITOR

CAN I EXTEND A VISITOR VISA OR APPLY FOR A DIFFERENT CATEGORY ONCE I ENTER THE UK?

As a visitor in the UK, you cannot extend your stay or apply for a different visa category. You must leave the UK and return to your home country in order to apply for any other visa.

CAN I WORK IN THE UK WHILE ON A VISIT VISA?

This visa is strictly for visits and you are not allowed to work on your own a business.

I CAN'T FIND THE VISA CATEGORY I APPLIED FOR PREVIOUSLY, WHY IS THIS?

Visa types and criteria are usually reviewed, stopped or altered by the Home of UK visa and Immigration. If the visa type you are looking for is no longer available, it may have been replaced by an alternative or the route may no longer be valid.

HOW CAN I WORK IN THE UK?

Working in the UK requires you to get a job offer in a role that meets all the requirements from a Skilled worker sponsor. Alternatively, you may qualify for other visas in business categories that allow you to run a business and work in the UK.

MY COUNTRY IS AMONG THE RED LIST COUNTRIES, CAN I STILL APPLY FOR A JOB IN HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE?

Yes you can, The list doesn’t prevent individual health and social care personnel from independently applying to health and social care employers for employment in the UK, of their own accord and without being targeted by a third party, such as a recruitment agency or employer (known as a direct application). WHAT DOES THE IHS FEE MEAN?

The IHS fee is the Immigration health surcharge you may be required to pay as part of your application if you are applying for a settlement type of visa which should last longer than 6 months.

DO I NEED TO MEET THE MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENT?

Yes, all Skilled worker jobs must meet maintenance requirement for themselves and for any dependants. Most often, the employer can certify maintenance, if this is the case, you will not be required to show ay maintenance funds in your personal bank account. If your employer does not certify maintenance, you will be required to demonstrate this. DO I NEED TO MEET ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT?

Yes, all Skilled worker visas requires mandatory English Language requirement. You can use a UK Degree, or an overseas bachelor’s degree taught in English confirmed by NARIC, or pass an approved English test- Our team will guide and provide you with links to the right tests to take when you are part of our TMS. DOES ONE HAVE A CHOICE ON THE TYPE OF CARER JOB?

WOULD ONE BE BOUND BY ANY FORM OF CONTRACT AND FOR WHAT PERIOD?

This may vary from company to company. And this will be determined when you get your job offer. Some companies demand contracts, others don’t.

HOW LONG DOES ONE HAVE TO STAY ON WITHIN THE CARER WORK BEFORE BEING ABLE TO SWITCH JOBS?

You can switch at any time to another Skilled worker sponsored job as long as you find another job you can be sponsored in.

DOES YOUR AGENCY REGISTER AND REPRESENTS APPLICANTS WHO ARE NOT CURRENTLY WITHIN THE UK?

Our Talent Management Scheme primarily focuses on overseas candidates only as it is a relocation management programme helping to achieve relocation goals.

CAN I APPLY FOR A VISA TO SET UP MY OWN BUSINESS IN THE UK?

CAN SETTING UP A BUSINESS IN THE UK LEAD TO PERMANENT RESIDENCY?

Yes, setting up a business can be done via several routes which gives you a visa valid for 3 to 5 years and can lead to an indefinite leave to remain in the UK.

IS BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE IN CARE REQUIRED IN APPLYING FOR THE CARER VISA AND WHAT KIND OF PROOF IS REQUIRED TO SHOW THIS?

No, as some roles are care assistants and other senior carers. However, some experience is helpful. We encourage our community to undertake experience locally and online training, again we provide them with some links overseas to get this done.

WOULD CARE CERTIFICATES OR EVIDENCE OF TRAINING BE REQUIRED?

This will be helpful but not mandatory. We will provide some useful training information links that can help achieve this as part of the community when you join.

WOULD THE CANDIDATE BE REQUIRING TO TAKE AN IELTS, IF YES; WOULD IT BE THE ACADEMICS OR GENERAL IELTS ?

Yes. IELTS UKVI GENERAL is adequate. This is captured in the FAQ on our website. Every skilled worker visa require IELTS. Our team guide the process when an individual sign up with us

DO I NEED TO VISIT YOUR OFFICE IN ORDER TO BENEFIT FROM YOUR SERVICES FOR ILR STATUS?

We work with clients in different locations across the globe and the majority of our clients try to access us from outside of the UK. We have a set structure which enables us to work with you without you having to visit our office in person. That being said, an office visit can also be done on an appointment basis only.
